The Aka Cords​

Aka cords are energy cords that transport negative and positive energy between people. 

​

When I first heard about these cords (which are theoretical), I became interested in how they would manifest in a tangible way.

​

I thought of energy as being light that is instantaneously transported from one place to another, no matter how far, as in Quantum Entanglement.

​

The cords themselves are constructed of paper maché with a story stamped into the paper. These are attached to the wall through a "portal" that is knit and painted. Inside each cord is a light that goes on and off every few seconds, to simulate energy running through it.
